When the whole world is under the grip of pandemic and people everywhere are directly or indirectly affected by covid19, Vikas Deepti, Bargarh, Odisha in its own way reached out to the children with disabilities and their families, leprosy patients and their families, widows and migrant families by providing them dry food in the form of rice, dal, edible oil, soap and medicines.
When the whole world is under the grip of pandemic and people everywhere are directly or indirectly affected by covid19, Vikas Deepti, Bargarh, Odisha in its own way reached out to the children with disabilities and their families, leprosy patients and their families, widows and migrant families by providing them dry food in the form of rice, dal, edible oil, soap and medicines.
We also provided dry food and medicines for 173 families of persons affected by leprosy from 5 leprosy colonies namely Ruhunia, Jeera colony, BargaonKushtashram, NadikhandiPada and Sambalpur Colony of Bargarh District. Medicine was given to those people who were in need of it.
Moreover, we also reached out to couple of widows and their families and migrant families who were suffering and struggling during the lock down due to lack of food. We provided them with 25 kg rice, 3 kg dal, 1 kg oil and soap.We are grateful to all the donors and benefactors who continually help Vikas Deepti to reach out to these less privileged people of the society.
